About Linda

You are probably wondering, “Who is this person?” Well my name is Linda Reynolds and I have spent the past 30 years in the IT industry. It sure has been an interesting adventure as I have had the opportunity to see many changes along the way.

I started out as a keypunch operator and moved into computer operations. Wow, it seems so long ago but when you really think about it, it wasn’t really. Those mainframes I use to run that took up the whole computer room, and they were big, had less computing power than that iPhone sitting on your desk right now. It is truly amazing how fast this industry changes, but then again that is what I like about it!

So throughout my IT life I have managed data centers, been a systems administrator in that area called “client server” when PCs were thought to be just a fad and “they will go away” ha the joke was on them, they are still here, going strong and will never go away!! I was a certified instructor for Microsoft and Lotus Notes. So to sum it up I am proudly know as a geek.

In my career, I have been restructured a couple of times and shortly after 9/11 I was restructured from IBM. It was at that time I decided I needed a change and wanted to try my hand at sales so I went into real estate and sold my little heart out. I followed that up with getting my Broker’s license and opening my own Brokerage which is still alive today. That is saying a lot given the nature of this business and the state of the market.

I have always said “Once a geek, always a geek” and I find it to be true. I just can’t seem to keep my grubby little hands out of the technical side of things. I have to say I am probably one of the most technically equipped real estate brokers around and use every tool around I come across to find my customers via the web.

Since the demise of the real estate market, I gravitated back to the world of the internet. I am now doing affiliate marketing. As I traverse this world we call the internet and encounter tons of so called gurus that will sell you anything and everything under the sun and promise to make you a millionaire overnight, I want to help that process of weeding out the week ones and pointing you to the ones who really know their stuff.

So if I write about one of these guys and their products you can rest assured it is quality stuff.
